Class Photos

This week in Social Studies we performed a reader's theater on the Declaration of Independence. I have added a few pictures. I'm trying to add the video but of course it is not working correctly. I hope to have it up by the weekend.

Christmas Giving

This is a time for giving.
In lieu of teacher gifts or student gift exchanges, we would appreciate donations to Care to Learn. Here are the Backpack program suggestions for each grade level:

PreK & 5th grade- boxed or instant cereals
K & 4th grade- single serve, shelf stable, microwaveable meals
1st & 8th grade- granola or cereal bars
                         2nd & 7th grade-pudding or fruit cups

3rd & 6th grade- snack crackers or peanut butter & jelly

Thank you & Merry Christmas!

Snow day!

Okay so it really isn't a snow day. We could call it an ice day.

Just a reminder that I will not be tutoring after school tomorrow (Tuesday) due to a meeting. I will however tutor on Wednesday of this week.

I do plan on tutoring next Monday-Wednesday. I want to open this up to any student who wants some extra study time. We will be having two tests before Christmas break; social studies and science. I would like to have our social studies test next Thursday & Friday, 11/11-11/12. Our science test is planned for the following Tuesday; 11/16.
